Created for a local, beloved New York microbrewery, the “Get Medieval” advertising campaign positioned Middle Ages beer as a remedy for a modern society that’s a little too easy, a little too mundane, and a little too safe. Each of the four pieces in the print campaign brings one of their themed beers to life in a scenario that merges the modern and the medieval. Through a series of images that came to life as posters, postcards, and environmental graphics in several retail outlets, including a Middle Ages brew pub in a busy New York airport, the campaign reminds us that chivalry isn’t dead and neither are all the dragons in the world.
