Trauma care is a service that we all hope never to use…but in the moments where it’s needed, its significance is made brutally clear.
ECMC, a longstanding client of The Martin Group, is Western New York’s only Level 1 Adult Trauma Center. In an emergency department build in the 1970s, their team of doctors, nurses, and other caregivers had performed medical miracles and saved the lives of tens of thousands of Western New Yorkers annually. With the building of a new, state-of-the-art Trauma Center and Emergency Department in the works, they turned to us to help raise awareness of its importance to our community and to raise funds to make their vision a reality.
Following earlier phases of work aimed at garnering large donations from institutional supporters, we created a public-facing campaign to rally the support of our community. Based on the theme of “No Giving Up,” the campaign speaks to the tenacious spirit that ECMC brings to even the most traumatic cases with the most critical injuries, and in turn asks the community to support the place that has always been there for our entire region. Executed across patient testimonials, television spots, outdoor and print advertising, social media, radio, collateral materials, and more, the campaign helped solidify support and progress for the new facility’s Spring 2020 opening.
