Public Affairs Specialist

A magna cum laude graduate of the University at Buffalo and a dedicated professional, Margaret applies her understanding of media to supporting our public affairs team. Previously, Margaret worked at Buffalo Toronto Public Media, where she gained experience in live studio TV and radio production, as well as Shea’s Performing Arts Center. As a Public Affairs Specialist at The Martin Group, Margaret helps clients increase their media presence, communicate with the public, preserve a favorable image, and concept ideas and strategies to help them reach their objectives. This includes everything from drafting, editing, and distributing press releases to maintaining relationships with news media, consumers, government, and other public interest groups. In her free time, Margaret enjoys cycling, skiing, golfing, and trying new restaurants.
