The Martin Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Director to join our team, focusing on one of our key retail grocery clients. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in driving project success and ensuring our client’s initiatives run smoothly in a fast-paced environment.
As a Project Director at our agency, you will lead cross-functional teams through every stage of the project lifecycle. Your expertise will guide the project management process, from resource allocation to managing client approvals, quality assurance, and the seamless deployment of creative assets across various marketing channels, including in-store print, social media, and web.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all facets of project management, leading a team of project managers to deliver outstanding results.
- Provide comprehensive project management support for the development of content and creative across diverse marketing platforms.
- Customize and monitor project plans, adapting them to the scope and needs of each initiative.
- Foster a motivated and efficient project team environment by addressing questions and removing obstacles.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective design, development, and implementation of creative assets.
- Maintain clear communication with team members, ensuring alignment on tasks and deadlines.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively updating stakeholders on timelines and realignment strategies as needed.
- Utilize your deep understanding of creative and digital processes to drive project success.
- Forecast and manage resources and timelines to ensure projects are completed on time and to our high-quality standards.
- Hold team members accountable for task completion and performance.
- Leverage expert knowledge of project management systems (e.g., Workfront, Excel) to analyze data, pull reports, and create efficiencies.
- Ensure that project assets are in order before opening jobs and when receiving deliverables.
- Document and update best practices, implementing change management strategies.
Qualifications:
- 5-7+ years of project management experience within an agency setting preferred, particularly in creative deliverables across print, video, web, and graphic design.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale digital, creative, and marketing projects successfully.
- Strong collaboration skills and the flexibility to adapt to a variety of projects and teams.

Salary Range: $80,000 – $100,000
