As Buffalo’s renaissance continues to take hold, the signs of progress have risen all over the region—especially downtown. And there was no greater signal of a new day for our area than the new Curtiss Hotel, a boutique, 68-room destination designed to be one-of-a-kind in Western New York and brought to life with no detail left unconsidered in the historic Harlow C. Curtiss building.
To help prepare this luxury urban resort for its debut, The Martin Group was engaged on a number of projects, from designing the hotel’s logo (taking its cues from the beautifully restored exterior terra cotta walls), to creating a visual identity for Chez Ami restaurant on the ground floor, to concepting supplemental materials like welcome kits and menus, to naming and developing a logo for VUE (the property’s 400-person capacity luxury rooftop lounge). And in being part of the process—from numerous hard-hat tours through the construction site to seeing this incredible place in its final form—we were proud to play our part in introducing one of Buffalo’s most luxurious new players in hospitality, dining and nightlife.
