You will be responsible for assisting the creative team to execute on creative challenges, leading a small team of creatives through concept development, creative consultations, and setting our clients and their products apart from their competition. As an Associate Creative Director, you will coach, mentor, and attract top talent, collaborate internally across departments, and create innovative solutions to client challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:
The Work – Assist the work and oversee the creative challenges of assigned clients
- Conceptual development that provides solutions that set our clients and their products apart from their competition
- Develop and execute creative solutions for assigned clients
- Lead innovative ideation of client concepts that may include video production, content writing, and imagery to inspire action and meet client goals
- Review and guide creative briefs
- Contribute hands-on to projects from concepting through design and execution, effectively managing daily workload, projects, and deadlines
- Build relationships at the appropriate client/vendor level
- Participate in meetings with clients to establish creative direction and obtain approval on objectives
- Maintain awareness of pop culture, trends, news, and advertising industry happenings as well as the current state of the creative product
The Team – Lead and inspire a small team of creatives
- Consults with the Account Manager to ensure the execution of assigned creative efforts are on strategy, on budget, and on schedule
- Coach and mentor direct reports through development and performance management
- Oversee and maintain quality standards for the team as set forth by the department
- Direct the activities of assigned projects and direct reports to maintain agency’s standards of creative excellence, timeliness, and profitability while achieving the client’s goals
- Identifies internal and external talent, actively creating a pipeline of top talent
- Works with teams to set, execute on, and track goals
The Agency – Collaborate across the Agency to identify challenges and provide innovative solutions
- Assists with creative consultations with account teams to ensure appropriate creative objectives are being met across all accounts and optimize the impact of the Creative Team
- Proactively ideates and communicates campaign concepts and strategies to the Creative Department to assist in collaboration with strategy and planning
- Maintains consistent communication with SVP Creative and project partners, involving top Agency management in individual client business when appropriate
- Participates in and contributes to new business pitches
- Works with the Executive Team to implement marketing materials for the Agency and assists with the creation and assembly of new business materials
Skills and Abilities:
- Exemplary level of design and visual communication skills
- Ability to coach and develop others to build and retain top talent
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to articulate and persuasively sell creative concepts within the Agency and directly to clients
- Communicates effectively in person, via email, and via telephone with the client, the Agency’s Creative Team, and other departments on specific projects
- Superior knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to work on multiple projects and brands simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- A high level of skill in written English, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a creative field
- Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience required
Salary Range: $75,000 to $95,000
