Utilizing email marketing is one of the purest ways to directly reach an audience directly. While social networks and search engines choose what to show you, your inbox is one of the few areas online you have more control over.
Email marketing generally falls into a few different categories:
- Organic Email Marketing – Sending single messages or newsletters to a mailing list you’ve built over time
- Paid Email Marketing – Purchasing an email list to send to, usually as a one-off email
- Nurturing Campaign – Building out an automated sequence of emails to be sent to a list to slowly nudge them towards our goals
